What You’ll Need
- 2 g Matchai Premium Matcha
- 80 ml hot water (80°C, not boiling)
Step-by-Step Method
1. Add the Matcha
Place 2 g of Matchai Premium Matcha or ceremonial grade matcha to your bowl or mug. Sifting first helps you avoid clumps.
2. Start with 40 ml Warm Water
Pour 40 ml of hot but not boiling water over the matcha.
3. Whisk Into a Paste
Whisk gently until the matcha becomes smooth, even paste with no lumps.
4. Add the Remaining 60 ml
Pour in the final 60 ml of hot water to complete the base.
5. Whisk for Froth
Whisk more vigorously to build a thin, foamy layer on top.
6. Ready to Drink
The matcha is set to enjoy.
